Cellstack Integraton Suite

A networked solution for video surveillance is complex and requires a powerful management system.
 
The Cellstack Integration Suite (CIS) is a comprehensive management system that is well suited to a multi-service IT environment. It allows the network designer to create a video surveillance network suitable for all user types and enables the network administrator to manage the network on a daily basis.
 
The CIS comprises the following products: 
 

Manager

CellStack Manager allows the system administrator to graphically represent a surveillance network and manage network devices to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Full management of CellStack Centauri MPEG/M-JPEG video codecs on ATM and IP networks
  • Management of Telindus 4000 series codecs

A special version of CellStack Manager is available that is fully integrated with HP OpenView Network Node Manager, so users familiar with this product can use it to manage CellStack codecs.

Operator

CellStack Operator is used in the surveillance operations centre to make video, audio and telemetry connections at the click of a button using a simple user interface.

  • Display of alarm and status information from video codecs
  • Real time control of camera PTZ functions using an on screen control or joystick
  • Simple selection of video, audio and telemetry settings using profiles
  • Allows connections to CellStack Vision PCs, as well as multiple monitors and quad split displays.
  • Full integration with the Event Handling System, which can be used to zoom cameras to predefined positions when an intruder is detected, for example
  • Full integration with both CellStack and Telindus 4000 series codecs
  • Full integration with CellStack Centinel networked video recorders (NVRs).

Event Handling System (EHS)

The EHS allows users to combine Access Control Systems and networked video surveillance.
 
The EHS accepts inputs from a wide range of third party devices via a CellStack I/O Unit or directly via a PC Ethernet or serial port. The inputs are used to trigger important functions, such as camera positioning, video recording or external alarms.

  • CellStack I/O Unit trigger system for automatic monitoring of up to 64 devices
  • Timed trigger system for performing actions automatically at set intervals
  • Fully configurable list of actions for performing tasks such as opening and closing connections
  • Multiple Event Handling Systems can run on a network.

Gateway

CellStack Gateway enables users to integrate third party applications, such as camera control, access control, alarms, electronic road signs and network management systems, with a CellStack video network.

Vision

CellStack Vision enables users to view high quality MPEG-2 and MJPEG video on their PC monitors.

  • Convenient selection of different camera inputs using channel buttons
  • Compatibility with both IP and ATM codecs.
  • MPEG-2 and M-JPEG video decoding in one product
  • Support for multiple monitors, allowing the operator to see the output from a camera on one monitor and a second CellStack
    application, such as CellStack Operator, on the other
  • Playback of files from Centinel recording device
  • Connection initiation from within Vision or via another CellStack application.

Vision WebGate

CellStack Vision WebGate allows users to display live video images from CellStack codecs on a website. The software samples M-JPEG video from codecs on an ATM network and automatically saves the video frames as graphics files for transfer to a web server.

MultiVision

CellStack MultiVision allows users to view MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 streams from any of the Telindus 4000 series codecs on their PC screens.

  • Quad view application capable of displaying 4 windows with separate video streams
  • Resizeable viewing windows
  • On Screen Display for each video stream being decoded
  • MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 streams can be viewed at the same time.

Media Player

CellStack Media Player allows users to view clips previously recorded onto a PC hard drive or network drive from either the CellStack Centinel or Telindus Media Recorder series of NVRs.

  • MPEG-2, MPEG-4, M-JPEG and MXPEG clips can be viewed
  • Capture facility for sections of video or individual frames
  • Zoom and resize functions
  • Brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and luminance control
  • Export/transcode to DVD ROM.
